The Land Trust of Santa Cruz County, in cooperation with public and private interests, protects and manages lands of significant natural resource, agricultural, cultural and open space value.

Vision

The Land Trust of Santa Cruz County, in partnership with the community, will protect the remaining critical land and water resources that define Santa Cruz County’s beauty, coastal landscape, unique biotic habitats and rich agricultural heritage through a variety of strategies.

Recent Accomplishments

In the past year we have adopted a new strategic plan, built the infrastructure to implement it, and seen the first fruits of these efforts.  Today we are on the verge of a major expansion in land protection for Santa Cruz County.
