Funding for this Project

This project involves three landowners, four parcels and four potential funders, with different funders contributing to acquiring different parcels. In other words, it's complex. The Coastal Conservancy has approved a $6.5 million grant for this project and the Wildlife Conservation Board is considering a $5.5 million grant.

The Land Trust is also seeking $1.5 million from the Nature Conservancy (with funds from the David and Lucile Packard Foundation) and a funding from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The Land Trust needs to raise approximately $250,000 to complete the acquisition, including covering closing costs, consultant fees and staffing. Our $500,000 campaign also includes $250,000 to allow us to work on other land protection and grant opportunities.
