The Land Trust relies on donations from individual members to fund its core expenses. Without membership support we would not have the staff necessary to meet with landowners, care for protected lands, or seek foundation and public agency funds. In 2006 individual donations will matched $21 to $1 through public agency and private foundation grants.
Our ambitious plans to protect Santa Cruz County include steady increases in community support over the next few years. We call this the Steep Slope and we hope you’ll join us in climbing it – and some other steep and not so steep slopes on our Member Walks.
Members of the Land Trust receive the following benefits:
Conservation Circle Members make annual contributions of $1,000 or more. They receive the above membership benefits, plus special updates on Land Trust activities throughout the year and invitations to exclusive Conservation Circle events, including the Annual Conservation Circle Garden Party.
Conservation Circle Friends contribute $250 annually and receive membership benefits, plus an invitation to one Conservation Circle event a year.
Conservation Circle Associates contribute $500 annually and receive membership benefits, plus invitations to two Conservation Circle events and special Conservation Circle Updates.
