GREAT CAMPAIGN PAUSE

We’re hitting the Great Campaign pause button. We’ve raised most of what we think is possible right now ($15 million is a lot in 15 months) and, more importantly, we’ve raised what we need to launch and mostly complete all the great projects in the campaign.

We’re still happy to take your donations – so we can get, inch by inch, closer to being able to finish them all. During the past year some of the costs have gone up. We’ve added new projects (for example providing matching funds for the wharf to 17th Avenue segment of the Rail Trail). And, as we’ve done more detailed planning it is clear that the San Vicente Redwood Trails are going to cost more than we budgeted.

Because not all these projects will be completed in the next few years (though some will and all of them will be underway), we can pause a bit to figure out how much more we need and when we will need it.

Our heartfelt thanks to all of you who contributed to our biggest campaign ever – you make all our work possible!
