10,000 Acres

The Land Trust has launched a campaign to protect 10,000 acres of land by the end of 2012. That’s more land than in Wilder Ranch State Park or within the Santa Cruz city limits. This map shows you the properties we will protect (in yellow): the 8,500 acre CEMEX Redwoods forest, 1,200 acres at the heart of the Pajaro Hills (circled in black), rare Sandhills habitat, and a Pajaro Valley apple orchard.
